Can I do spray foam myself?
That depends, if it’s the over-the-counter foam at a hardware store and you’re not using it for insulating your home then yes, but if you’re looking to insulate your home you’ll need 2lbs density closed cell spray foam installed by a certified contactor – give us call and we’ll help with a quote!
Does spray foam insulation need a fire barrier?
Yes spray foam requires a fire barrier, DC-315 fireproofing paint is often applied if no other coverings are available. Steel sheets, layers of gypsum board, or other fire-resistant coverings can be used.
